Madrid, 18 November 2021 - With its eye-catching and inviting booth, SofarSolar made an outstanding appearance at this year’s Genera, the leading energy & environment fair in Spain. The company's booth was one of the hotspots in the hall, with people from all over the world connecting and enjoying freshly made coffee or an ice-cold beer.
One of the highlights during the three-day fair was the official signing of the cooperation between SofarSolar and Aúna Distribución, the national leader in the distribution of electrical equipment, plumbing, heating, air conditioning and renewable energies. According to José Domingo, General Director of Aúna Distribución, the strategic alliance "represents a unique opportunity to promote the development of renewable energies in Spain, Portugal and Andorra."
The new cooperation embodies a significant step for SofarSolar towards further consolidating its position in the local market. Guillermo Calamita, SofarSolar’s Country Manager for Spain, said that “the Spanish national energy storage policy signifies the increasing importance of storage solutions. With SofarSolar's solid and broad portfolio, we are able to provide fitting solutions". Moreover, he underlined that the intention of SofarSolar is to have a durable and fruitful relationship with the distribution partners of AUNA. Christian Buchholz, Executive Vice President SofarSolar GmbH, emphasised that the alliance shows that SofarSolar is now quickly on its way to becoming a known, significant player in Europe, in line with the company's already significant market shares in the European markets.
SOFARSOLAR Academy training sessions
During the fair, SOFARSOLAR Academy also organised several internal training sessions together with AUNA. These sessions were mainly led by Tomasz Grnyo, Head of Technical Department EMEA and SOFARSOLAR Academy, and Aleix Manonellas, Spanish Technical Service Engineer at SofarSolar. Local service engineers and technical advisers had the opportunity to learn technical know-how on the newest SofarSolar products, including the 3rd generation on-grid inverters, hybrid inverters and energy storage units. With the gained experience, they will be in a better position to assist Spanish customers.
Meanwhile, online training sessions and webinars are also in full swing. New webinars will take place at the start of December, including a detailed introduction and guide to the company's monitoring solution.
